The Unity Of Ndokwa People Will Be Evident In 2027 Elections, Says Onyeme

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., has said that the unity of the Ndokwa people will be evident in their votes for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

Deputy Governor Onyeme made this known on Saturday at Ibabu, Onicha-Ukwuani, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State when he met with aggrieved members of the APC from the area, led by Chief Dennis Okoh.

According to the Deputy Governor, it was a source of joy that the people are united politically to vote for all the candidates of the APC.

Sir Onyeme said, “the Free Trade Zone, Kwale, will witness a lot of activities next year; so, let us take the 2027 elections personally.

”I am very happy that all of you have come out to say, ‘Let us come together and forge ahead’; what we are seeing in the Ndokwa nation today will be evident in the next elections.

”If all of us agree the way we have come together, we will be proud of ourselves and make the government proud of us.

“I want to thank you, Chief Dennis Okoh, for bringing all the aggrieved APC members together.

”In Delta State, the Ndokwa people are numerous; we have oil, but we are very peaceful people, we will remain peaceful and united.

”It is better that they call me the most loyal Deputy Governor than the most stubborn Deputy Governor; in Ndokwa West, we have over 100 registered voters; so, collectively, we can achieve more than 80 per cent of the votes.

”Voting for President Tinubu and all the candidates of the APC is in our best interest; we have a lot of reasons to talk about President Tinubu and why we should vote for him.

”If we vote massively for President Tinubu, I am sure that more development will come to our people.”

Also at the meeting, the Delta North Senatorial candidate for the APC, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, said, “it is very, very good when brothers reconcile.

”I thank the Deputy Governor for making this happen, and I thank Dennis Okoh for helping our brothers who disagreed to agree, because in politics, we must disagree to agree.

”The Deputy Governor is the highest political office-holder in Delta North and the second-highest political office-holder in Delta State, so, we should support him to get the highest number of votes from Delta North.

”We must pour our hearts out in full to work for the APC; if you all put your minds to work, there is no way that you will not deliver the highest number of votes.

”You should play politics of inclusion; if you are accessible, it will be in the best interest of everybody.”

Senator Okowa expressed confidence that President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will win in the next election.

The Chairman of the APC in Delta North Senatorial District, Engr. Dan Ossai, expressed joy that there are no longer dissenting voices among members of the APC and commended the aggrieved members for agreeing to work in the party’s interest.

”Let us remain more united so that we can get more than 70,000 votes from Ndokwa West,” Engr. Ossai stated.

Chief Dennis Okoh had said, “what we are seeing here today is oneness; we disagree to agree, and today, we have reconciled to work together as one people.”
