Exit Of A Good Man: OSUOZA MOURNS FORMER BOSS, DR. EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN

EXIT OF A GOOD MAN: FAREWELL TO MY FORMER BOSS, DR. EMMANUEL EWETA UDUAGHAN, CON

It is with a deeply saddened heart that I mourn the passing of my former boss and former Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, who departed this world on Monday, 19th October 2026, at the age of 71, just three days before his 72nd birthday.

I had the rare privilege of serving under his leadership as Commissioner for Special Duties (Project Monitoring), an opportunity that afforded me firsthand knowledge of his character, leadership philosophy and genuine commitment to the development of Delta State.

Dr. Uduaghan was a good man, a compassionate leader, a consummate administrator and a statesman whose humility, humanity and dedication to public service were remarkable.

His visionary Delta Beyond Oil initiative, commitment to infrastructural development, healthcare delivery and peaceful coexistence remain enduring chapters of his administration’s legacy.

His departure is profoundly painful and represents a personal loss to me and countless others whose lives he touched.

My heartfelt condolences go to his beloved wife, Deaconess Roli Uduaghan, his children, the entire Uduaghan family and the good people of Delta State.

Farewell, my former boss! You came, you served, and you left your footprints on the sands of time.

May Almighty God grant your gentle soul eternal repose. Amen!

â–  Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza

Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House)

Delta State.

19TH OCTOBER, 2026.
