Two Years of Monumental Achievements: Chief Nat Applauds Aniocha South Chairman

The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Infrastructure, Chief Nat Igbadi, has described the two years in office of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Jude Chukwunwike, as monumental.

Chief Igbadi made the remark in a congratulatory message marking the chairman’s second anniversary in his second term in office.

He said the chairman had recorded remarkable achievements in grassroots development, security, infrastructure, healthcare, staff welfare and youth empowerment.

According to him, the administration has significantly reduced crime by supporting and strengthening community vigilantes and assisting security agencies.

He noted that the collaboration among vigilantes, the police and other security agencies had reduced armed robbery, kidnapping and cult-related activities across the local government.

He said residents could now sleep peacefully because of the improved security situation.

Chief Igbadi also commended the chairman’s empowerment programmes for women and youths through support for small and medium-scale enterprises.

He said the initiatives had helped many beneficiaries become self-reliant and employers of labour.

He praised the chairman for grading community earth roads and rehabilitating classroom blocks in several primary schools.

He also acknowledged the renovation of health centres across communities to improve access to quality healthcare.

According to him, the chairman recognises that good healthcare remains essential to the well-being of the people.

Chief Igbadi said staff welfare had remained a priority under the administration.

He noted that salaries were paid promptly and workers received welfare packages during the Christmas season.

He further commended the construction and renovation of market squares in several communities.

He said the chairman had maintained a cordial relationship with the legislative arm of the council.

He added that the partnership resulted in the construction of one of the best legislative buildings in the state.

Chief Igbadi also praised the chairman for fostering strong relationships with state and federal government agencies by providing office accommodation for them.

He prayed that God would continue to grant Hon. Chukwunwike wisdom and strength to provide effective leadership.

He expressed confidence that the people of Aniocha South would continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy through impactful grassroots governance.
