ADC RIVERS STATE COMMENDS SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT, REAFFIRMS LOYALTY TO MARK-AREGBESOLA LEADERSHIP

The Rivers State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) warmly welcomes the historic judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, which has unambiguously affirmed Senator David Mark as National Chairman and Chief Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary.

This landmark ruling is a victory for due process, party autonomy, and the rule of law. It confirms that the leadership of our party was never in doubt, only temporarily clouded by institutional overreach.

We commend the Supreme Court for upholding justice and restoring clarity. The decision validates our consistent position and strengthens our resolve to build a credible opposition that champions democracy, accountability, and national renewal.

INEC acting promptly to reflect the Sen. Mark-Aregbesola leadership in all official records and platforms is in order and in line with true democratic norms.

We reiterate that INEC must stop being partisan and uphold the true tenacity of democracy. We further insist on the resignation of Prof. Joash Amupitan as INEC national Chairman. His office must be beyond reproach, and public confidence must be restored.

To all ADC members and supporters in Rivers State: remain united, vigilant, and focused. This judgment is a milestone, but our mission to transform Nigeria and our dear state continues.

ADC….arise and shine Nigerians

Signed:
Chief Amb. Leader Sampson,
ADC chairman, Rivers state
