The Delta State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Senior Policy Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, has intensified grassroots mobilisation for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, taking the sensitisation campaign to Oshimili North and Aniocha North Local Government Areas of the state.
The sensitisation programme, which attracted political leaders, party faithfuls, youths, women and other stakeholders, focused on enlightening residents on the policies, programmes and achievements of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration, the activities of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and the need to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027 general elections.
Addressing participants, Solomon said the Renewed Hope Ambassadors was established to bridge the gap between the Federal Government and the grassroots by providing citizens with accurate information on the policies, reforms and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
He said the ongoing economic reforms being implemented by the Federal Government were aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy for sustainable growth, expanding infrastructure, creating employments opportunities and improving the standard of living of Nigerians.
Solomon urged the people of Oshimili North and Aniocha North to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all APC candidates, stressing that unity and collective support would guarantee more democratic dividends for the people of Delta State and Nigeria.
Speaking earlier, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Innocent Ifeanyichukwu Esewezie, commended Solomon for bringing the sensitisation campaign to the grassroots.
Esewezie described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative as timely and strategic, saying it would strengthen public confidence in the administration of President Tinubu while galvanizing support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates across Delta State.
At the Aniocha North sensitisation programme, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Council, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, welcomed the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and applauded the leadership of Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon for taking the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda directly to the grassroots.
Chinye called on residents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all APC candidates to ensure continuity of development and effective representation.
A major highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Secretariat in Aniocha North Local Government Area by Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon. Performing the inauguration, Solomon described the secretariat as a strategic grassroots mobilisation centre that would coordinate the activities of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, strengthen public engagement and serve as a hub for communicating the policies and programmes of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.
He charged members of the party to ensure that the secretariat remained vibrant and people-oriented, adding that it would play a critical role in mobilising support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all candidates of the APC across the local government.
The event featured interactive sessions during which participants sought clarification on various policies of the Federal Government, while officials of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors reponded to questions and encouraged citizens to remain optimistic about the nation’s future.
Political leaders, traditional rulers, party executives, women and youth groups who attended the sensitisation exercise and the inauguration of the secretariat pledged their support for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across their respective communities.
