Aniocha North, stakeholders and residents of Idumuje-Ugboko Ward 8 have, in a significant political development, demonstrated strong support for the Senatorial Bid of former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, with a hefty donation of ₦20 million, to assist in the purchase of his senatorial nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The contribution, described by local leaders as a collective show of loyalty and confidence, underscores the growing momentum behind Okowa’s anticipated return to the Senate. Community representatives emphasized that the gesture reflects appreciation for his past leadership and continued relevance in Delta State politics.

Speaking with the press, Ndudi Elumelu, a prominent political figure from the AniochaOshimili, praised Okowa’s leadership qualities and enduring influence.
