Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Set to Commemorate World Public Relations Day 2026
The Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is set to commemorate World Public Relations Day 2026 with a Special July Monthly General Meeting, and invites public relations professionals, communication practitioners, media executives, government officials, corporate leaders, academics, students, and other stakeholders to participate.
The event, themed “The Golden Age of Strategic Public Relations,” will provide a platform to examine the evolving role of strategic public relations in an increasingly automated world.
The Guest Speaker, Dr. Emmanuel Akpoveta, Lecturer at Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, will deliver a keynote presentation focusing on the critical role of the Human Operating System (Human OS) in the age of Artificial Intelligence. His presentation will highlight why human judgment, ethics, creativity, empathy, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking remain indispensable to effective public relations practice.
