Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated renowned industrialist and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UTM FLNG Limited, Mr. Julius Rone, OFR, on the occasion of his 52nd birth anniversary, describing him as an exceptional entrepreneur whose achievements have continued to elevate Delta State and Nigeria on the global energy map.
In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor praised Rone’s visionary leadership and remarkable contributions to the nation’s oil and gas industry.
He noted that his investments have created opportunities, stimulated economic growth, and inspired a new generation of indigenous entrepreneurs.
Governor Oborevwori said Rone, widely acclaimed as “The Gas King,” has distinguished himself through innovation, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s industrial development, particularly with the successful development of UTM FLNG Limited, the promoter of Nigeria’s pioneering Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project.
He urged successful entrepreneurs across the country to emulate Rone’s passion for enterprise, investment, and national development, stressing that his accomplishments demonstrate the transformative impact of vision, hard work, and patriotism.
