The Chairman of the Delta State Investment Development Agency (DIDA), Olorogun Lucky Oghene-Omoru, has eulogised Late Moses Erhieyovweh Otaide, describing him as an accomplished professional and community leader who touched several lives.

Oghene-Omoru stated this in his emotional tribute to the deceased during the burial ceremony held at Igbuku-Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area.

He said the deceased was a man of many parts, hardworking and committed to achieving success in life, noting that his unwavering commitment to humanity was unequaled.

Recalling how they became very close and grew up together as brothers to imbibe the virtue of hard work to generate little income to cater for their pocket monies, while their Fathers took care of their school fees, Oghene-Omoru noted that the deceased’s working career was a testament to versatility, creativity and excellence.

Olorogun Oghene-Omoru, who is also Chairman of Igbuku Development Union, Igbuku Leaders of Thought (ILT) and the National Leader of APC Orogun Federal Ward 2, explained that the deceased was a devoted Christian, humble, a dedicated family man who was always willing to assist and share his wisdom.

Earlier, the Councillor representing Igbuku-Orogun at the Ughelli North Legislative Arm, Hon. Okemute Godday Igogono, said the deceased was a peaceful man who was not self-centered but believed in the collective growth of everyone.

“While he was a jolly good fellow to be with, his impact in the society will continue to reverberate,” Hon. Igogono stated.

The Councillor also described Oghene-Omoru as humility personified with uncommon integrity, stressing that the DIDA Chairman believes in the growth of young ones.

He said his charisma was worthy of emulation.

On the Global Support Group for Sheriff, Hon. Igogono revealed that the group is a pressure group formed by Olorogun Josiah Ntukume, while the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Chief Festus Ahon, is the Coordinator, with the aim of delivering all APC candidates in the 2027 election.

He appealed to Orogun people to join hands and give block votes to APC, assuring that they would not regret it as they would continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
