Delta North 2027: OCHEI TAKES CAMPAIGN TO NDOKWA NEKU UNION

NDOKWA NEKU UNION HOSTS RT. HON. VICTOR OCHEI ESQ., FNSE AND NDC CANDIDATES

It was an engaging session with leaders, executives, and stakeholders of the Ndokwa Neku Union, led by President General; Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni, at Ndokwa House.

The event was organised to interact with NDC candidates, ask critical questions, and discuss in detail the candidates’ plans and agenda for the people of Ndokwa.

Addressing the audience, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei emphasised that all candidates should be examined based on character, competence, and capacity the three pillars on which he has rested his candidacy.

He stressed that for anyone seeking public office, the people must properly assess their past records: what they did with the powers and resources available to them, the integrity of those records, and their ability to deliver tangible development in the future.

Ndokwa possesses one of the largest gas deposits in Africa and should rank among the most developed communities. Unfortunately, a community with such enormous gas resources still lacks electricity and other basic infrastructure, suffers from poor educational facilities, flooding, and impassable roads.

Drawing on his vast expertise as an engineer in the energy sector, Rt. Hon. Ochei explained in detail how electricity can be generated and distributed to consumers in a straightforward manner. He also spoke about using legislation and lobbying to secure federal government intervention to fix the abandoned roads that connect villages and communities within Ndokwa Nation roads neglected by the immediate past governor who had the executive powers but failed to act.

On the issue of insecurity, particularly farms being overrun by herdsmen who destroy crops and subject women to harassment, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei maintained that with Mr. Peter Obi as President who has sworn to deal decisively with insecurity he would ensure the matter is thoroughly discussed on the floor of the Senate. He further stated that a state of emergency would be declared by the incoming President, Mr. Peter Obi, as previously indicated.

Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei once again called for an open debate with other senatorial candidates, especially those who have previously served as senator for four years and governor for eight years.

He has put his past public offices forward for scrutiny and remains a man without blemish.
Present at the event were:

  • Deputy Governorship Candidate of the NDC, Ossai Godwin Osumili
  • House of Representatives Candidate for Ndokwa/Ukwuani, Dr. Ugochukwu Nwokolo “Overdoo”
  • House of Assembly Candidate, Engr. Nzei Ajuah
  • Hon. Eze Anthony
  • Hon. Jash Oyeme
  • NDC Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Aaron Udoka Ebenuwa
  • and other chiefs and leaders.
The entourage was welcomed by a large number of enthusiastic supporters and believers of the rescue mission.

The mission to rescue Nigeria has begun and Ndokwa is taking the lead.
