Comrade Churchill Oyowe, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council
The Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State Council, has extended warm felicitations to the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a distinguished media leader, a man of purpose, integrity, and exemplary character.
In a goodwill message signed by the State Chairman of ACNPN, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, the association said Comrade Oyowe’s birthday is not merely a celebration of another year of life but a reflection of a life dedicated to service, leadership, and the advancement of journalism in Delta State.
According to Abiagom, Comrade Oyowe has continued to distinguish himself through his humility, wisdom, and inclusive leadership style, qualities that have earned him the respect and admiration of journalists, publishers, and media stakeholders across the state.
Comrade Churchill Oyowe is a remarkable gentleman whose commitment to the growth of the media profession remains commendable. He is a leader who carries everyone along and has maintained a cordial and productive relationship with community newspaper publishers in Delta State. His open-door policy, maturity, and sense of fairness have strengthened unity within the media family, he said.
The ACNPN chairman noted that with every passing year, Oyowe continues to add greater wisdom, strength, experience, and positive impact to the lives of those around him, while contributing significantly to the development of journalism and the promotion of press freedom.
Abiagom further praised the NUJ chairman for his dedication to the welfare of journalists and his efforts in fostering professionalism, ethical reporting, and harmony within the union.
