2027: ADC Picks Gabriel Pidomson As Rivers Guber Candidate; Others Emerge For National, State Assembly Positions

The African Democratic Congress, Rivers State, has conducted its governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly primary elections held on the 21st and 22nd of May, 2026 across the 23 Local Government Areas and 319 wards in Rivers State.

While announcing the various results on Saturday, the 23rd of May, 2026, the Chairman of the Primaries Election Committee, Hon Mrs Obaro Ulohu, thanked Rivers people and members of the party for being peaceful and law abiding during the free and fair primaries across the state.
