Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has expressed deep sadness and grief over the demise of former Delta State Deputy Governor, Chief Benjamin Elue.
This was contained in a condolence message personally signed by Dr. Osuoza, in which he extolled the virtues of Sir ELUE, describing him as: “a distinguished statesman whose service to Delta State was marked by dedication, wisdom, and an abiding commitment to the growth and unity of our dear State”.
The message reads:
With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the former Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Chief BSC Elue, on the painful news of his passing this morning.
Chief Elue was a distinguished statesman whose service to Delta State was marked by dedication, wisdom, and an abiding commitment to the growth and unity of our dear State. His tenure in public office reflected a life devoted to duty, integrity, and the advancement of the common good. He carried the burdens of leadership with calm strength and a deep sense of responsibility.
At this difficult moment, may his immediate family find comfort in the remarkable legacy he leaves behind, a legacy of service, honour, and impactful leadership. May God grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grant his noble soul eternal rest.
Delta State has lost a patriot. Nigeria has lost a servant-leader.
May his memory remain a blessing to us all.
