Osuoza Condoles With Punch Newspapers, Delta NUJ Over Demise Of Journalist, Matthew Ochei

Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, has expressed his deepest condolences to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, the Asaba Correspondents Chapel of the Union and the entire management and staff of The Punch Newspapers, over the unexpected passing of Comrade Matthew Ochei, a journalist and correspondent of the Punch Newspapers, in Asaba, Delta State.

Dr. Osuoza expressed his sadness in a condolence message, he personally signed and which reads:

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, the Correspondence Chapel, and the entire management and staff of The Punch Newspapers on the painful passing of Comrade Matthew Ochei.
Comrade Ochei was a committed journalist and unionist whose professionalism, courage, and dedication to the ideals of ethical journalism earned him the respect of colleagues and stakeholders alike. His contributions to the media profession and the NUJ family will be fondly remembered, while his absence will be deeply felt.

At this moment of profound grief, I share in your sorrow and pray that God Almighty grants the NUJ family, his colleagues at The Punch Newspapers, friends, and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss. May the soul of Comrade Matthew Ochei rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire the journalism profession.
