


As promised, 30 additional beneficiaries of the Kestin Pondi Business Grant 2.0 have received ₦10 million each, fulfilling the ₦300 million additional grant promised by High Chief Tare Godfrey Pondi, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, and Chief Festus M. Ochonogor, during the first batch of the grant on March 9, 2026, expanding the impact from 50 to 80 beneficiaries.
The presentation ceremony took place at the MBB Consortium in Effurun, Delta State. Featuring a business seminar and panel session of the 2025 grant beneficiaries. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mr. Victor Isereke, highlighted the vision of the sponsor, High Chief Kestin Pondi FNIIS. FNSE, emphasizing a strong commitment to sustainable business development across the nation. He charged beneficiaries to make strategic use of the funds to grow impactful ventures.
Tantita Admin Manager, Miss Daisy Jaja, also addressing the beneficiaries, urged them to remain focused and disciplined. “Don’t fail the sponsors. Use the money for the purpose it was given, your seed is meant to be planted, not eaten and aim to be among those who will return next year as mentors.” She stated.


Similarly, Comr. Nicholas Igarama, the Chairman Ijaw Youth Council (Western Zone) alongside commissioner Goru Oghenekaro who also attended the event reiterated that participants should use the grant for business purpose, noting that “Its true impact will be seen when you succeed and uplift others.”
One participant, expressing gratitude, described the grant as a “dream come true,” noting how difficult it is to secure such funding through banks. Another called the grant “grace” and described High Chief Engr. Kestin Pondi, as an angel in human form, promising that they will make him proud.
With all grants disbursed, beneficiaries will now enter a post-grant business development programme, an initiative by High Chief Engr. Kestin Pondi that offers lifetime mentorship from seasoned coaches to ensure business growth and sustainability.
