TO: ALL FCTA/FCDA WORKERS
REINFORCEMENT DIRECTIVE FOR CONTINUATION OF THE STRIKE ACTION.
Following our earlier directive on the ongoing struggle to liberate ourselves from the vicious cocktail of neoliberal, gross administrative impunity and a systematic violation of the fundamental rights of workers by the current FCTA Management and its political leadership, the union hereby writes to inform on recent development.
Recall the ruling of the National Industrial Court on Tuesday, 27th January 2026, in the matter between the Minister of FCT versus workers of FCTA/ FCDA, in suit No. NICN/ABJ/17/2026, the Court ruled for the suspension of the strike action and subsequent adjournment till March 23, 2026.

Consequent upon the above development, the union through its lead counsel Femi Falana, SAN has filed an appeal against the decision of the National Industrial Court on interlocutory rule. (Find copy as circulated)
The Joint Union Action Committee therefore directs as follows:
a) That the strike continues as earlier declared by the JUAC
b) That staff are encouraged to stay at home to continuously participate in daily prayers for the success of the strike.
This struggle demands unity, discipline and unwavering commitment as retreat at this stage will only embolden further violations against workers rights.
A people united cannot be defeated, workers united cannot be defeated.
