John Ikechukwu Ozegbe
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, Delta State and strong contender for the Ndokwa West State Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. John Ikechukwu Ozegbe, has extended a rousing welcome to all party delegates, distinguished members, stakeholders, and leaders of the party from across the country, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026, holding in Abuja from March 27-28, 2026.
Ozegbe, who was speaking against the backdrop of a hugely successful APC South South Congress in Asaba, noted that the National convention is both an opportunity to forster unity and collective purpose amongst party members and a platform to strengthen internal democracy, as well as set the compass for a progressive course for both the APC and the nation going forward.
The youthful Delta Assembly hopeful equally expressed his confidence in the Consensus format adopted by the Party for the convention and while stressing that this will further consolidate the APC’s position as a leading political force in Nigeria, paid glowing tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary leadership, courage, and steadfast stewardship, noting that the President’s strategic political acumen continues to inspire confidence and direction within the party, while fostering unity and progress across all levels.
He then saluted the Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oboreveori, the National leader of the party and former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the entire leadership of the APC in the State, for the seamless and rancour-free manner they hosted the South South zonal convention and indeed the way they have conducted the affairs of the party in the state and ensured that all and sundry have been carried along.
Ozegbe charged all delegates and participants to work collectively towards the success of the convention and concluded by wishing everyone a peaceful, productive, and successful convention.
