John Ikechukwu Ozegbe, is definitely a new face in the electoral collage of aspirants who have attempted and offered themselves to represent Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly in the past.
But in his Constituency and the Ndokwa/Ukwuani ethno-cultural milieu, his face is well known, not just amongst his peers and age-grade, but is also quietly but steadily attracting favorable attention in quarters where critical decisions that concern the welfare and well being of the good and loyal people of Ndokwa West are discussed and determined.
At a time when the entire Ndokwa nation is experiencing a kind of reawakening, particularly in the robust advocacy for improved social and infrastructure amenities and facilities, the effective manner to manage this agitation should be through the application of fresh ideas and a pragmatic channelling of legislative influence especially when the business of allocation and appropriation are being determined in the House of Assembly.
For over fifteen years, since 2010 when he started working in the Delta State House of Assembly, rising over the years to the prestigious position Chief Legislative Officer, John Ikechukwu Ozegbe has garnered impeccable legislative knowledge and gained invaluable experience working with legislatures in such committees as Finance and Appropriations, Agricultural and Natural resources; Establishments; Ethics and Privileges; Youth And Sports Development; Legislative Compliance and the House Committee on DESOPADEC amongst others.
His dream and ambition to stand proudly on the floor of the hallowed chambers, presenting and delivering impactful, life changing legislations, towards improving the lives of his people and bringing accelerated development to his Constituency, has further been consolidated by his long years in the House of Assembly and now, he has signified his intention to contest for the seat of Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly and fulfill that dream.
With the massive reservoir of legislative experience he has accumulated over the years, one can safely conclude that John Ikechukwu Ozegbe is fully poised and ready, not just to deploy his vast knowledge of legislative business, but indeed to provide matured and progressive representation, in fulfillment of the Renewed Hope for the MORE Agenda vision to his beloved constituents and people of Ndokwa West Constituency, in 2027.
