FCT WORKERS DRAG WIKE TO APPEAL COURT, FILES STAY OF EXECUTION

ABUJA – The FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is facing a fresh legal migraine today as organized labor refused to back down, escalating the war of nerves to the Court of Appeal.

Resisting the controversial National Industrial Court’s ruling on Tuesday compelling workers to resume duties, the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC), through their counsel Femi Falana, SAN, has officially filed a Motion for a Stay of Execution.

This move effectively places a Legal shield over the union. Once a Stay of Execution is filed alongside an appeal, it creates a window of legal dispute that challenges the immediate enforcement of the previous judgment.
