APC Ward 8, Aniocha North Conducts Peaceful Congress; Nzediunor Peter Emerges Chairman


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully concluded its Ward 8 Congress in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, with Mr. Nzediunor Peter emerging as Chairman.

Ward 8 comprises Idumuje-Unor, Idumuje-Ugboko, and Idumuje-Aniofu.

The congress, which drew hundreds of party faithful, was conducted peacefully and in an atmosphere of unity, inclusiveness, and internal democracy.

Other officials elected during the exercise include Mrs. Josephine Moemeke as Vice Chairman; Mr. Harry Ogbechie as Secretary; Mrs. Esther Egbe as Woman Leader; Mr. Nwogu Chukwuma as Youth Leader; Mr. Clement Chiazor as Financial Secretary; Mrs. Evelyn Omile as Treasurer; Mr. Akabunwa Nonso as Organizing Secretary; and Mr. Nwokolo Ebube as Publicity Secretary amongst other elected officials.

The event was witnessed by notable party leaders, including the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, who fully participated in the proceedings.

Also in attendance were Clara Nneka Dibia, Vice-Chairman Aniocha North LGA., Norbert Chiazor, Executive Assistant (Media), and Jossy Honnah, Executive Assistant, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Owen Dibia (SSA), the two Councillors in the Ward, Hon. Nnamdi Okonkwo and Hon. Ugo Enuemenem, among other stakeholders.

Observers described the congress as orderly and transparent, reflecting the APC’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots structure ahead of future political engagements in the state.
