A Prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, politician,Philanthropist public administrator, a GOD fearing woman, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, has intensified her political mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of the Ngozi Olejeme Igbo Women Support Forum for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
The inauguration ceremony, held at her residence in Asaba, attracted women leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, and supporters from across Delta State and beyond.
Dr. Olejeme, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and Board Chairman,Trust Fund Pensions PLC said the newly formed political pressure group was established to mobilize Igbo women across Delta State and beyond in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing members of the group, Olejeme emphasized the critical role women play in shaping political outcomes and national development. She noted that the time had come for Igbo women to unite behind leaders whose policies and programmes are aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.
According to her, women have become more politically conscious and are prepared to actively participate in determining the future direction of governance in Nigeria.
We are organizing Igbo women to become a formidable political force. Women are now wiser and more informed, and we must channel our votes and support toward leaders who are working for the progress of the nation and our state, she said.

The former NSITF chairman expressed confidence that the support group would become a strong platform for grassroots mobilization capable of reaching millions of women before the 2027 elections.
During an interview with journalists, Dr. Olejeme pledged to mobilize a large network of women in support of President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and Senator Okowa. She commended the reform agenda of President Tinubu, describing it as a bold effort aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy and laying a foundation for sustainable development.
She also praised Governor Oborevwori for his developmental strides across Delta State, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, human capital development, and governance.
Dr. Olejeme called on Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in their efforts to move the nation and Delta State forward. According to her, meaningful development can only be achieved when citizens support leaders who are committed to delivering democratic dividends and improving the welfare of the people.
She maintained that women would play a decisive role in the political process and promised that the newly inaugurated group would work tirelessly to mobilize support for the leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.

Beyond politics, Dr. Olejeme is widely recognized for her contributions to public administration, entrepreneurship, women empowerment, youth development, education, and healthcare initiatives. She served as Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund from 2009 to 2015 and played a key role in expanding awareness of workers’ compensation and social protection programmes in Nigeria.
A respected political figure, she previously contested the governorship primaries of Delta State and also served as National Deputy Director of the Humanitarian and Social Committee of 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC)of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu . She is currently the Vice President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, representing Delta State and she also served as the Secretary of the Entertainment Committee in the last APC convention.
Dr Olejeme continues to advocate for the welfare and development of the Igbo people.
Observers believe the inauguration of the Ngozi Olejeme Igbo Women Support Forum signals the beginning of a broader grassroots political movement aimed at increasing women’s participation in governance and electoral activities ahead of 2027.
As political activities gradually gather momentum across the country, Dr. Olejeme’s initiative highlights the growing influence of women in Nigerian politics and their determination to shape the nation’s future through active participation and strategic engagements.
