In a major political development ahead of the 2027 general elections, leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State have unanimously endorsed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for a second term as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for a second term as Governor of Delta State; His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District; Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, as member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; and Engr. Fidel Onwodi, as member representing Aniocha North State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

The strategic stakeholders’ meeting, held yesterday and chaired by Dame Nkem Okwuofu, attracted prominent party leaders, political stakeholders, youth and women groups, as well as ward coordinators from across the local government area.

At the meeting, participants unanimously adopted and signed a resolution declaring total support for the five leaders, citing their leadership qualities, political experience, track records of service, and commitment to the unity, stability, and continued development of Delta State and Nigeria.

The stakeholders noted that the consensus endorsement followed wide consultations and a careful appraisal of the developmental strides and political impact of the endorsed leaders. They emphasized that the decision reflects the collective resolve of party faithful and the people of Aniocha North to sustain continuity, effective leadership, quality representation, and inclusive development ahead of the 2027 general elections.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was commended for his bold economic reforms, commitment to democratic governance, infrastructural development initiatives, and efforts at repositioning the Nigerian economy for long-term growth and stability.

Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori received glowing commendations for his remarkable infrastructural drive, people-oriented policies, empowerment programmes, and impactful implementation of the MORE Agenda across Delta State.

Former Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, was praised for his enduring political leadership, statesmanship, and immense contributions to the growth, peace, and stability of Delta State, as well as his continuing influence in national politics.

Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu was equally applauded for his quality representation, legislative experience, constituency development projects, grassroots accessibility, and sustained commitment to the welfare of the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

Engr. Fidel Onwodi also received widespread commendation for his dedication to grassroots mobilization, community development initiatives, youth engagement, and consistent efforts toward strengthening unity, cooperation, and the APC structure within Aniocha North Local Government Area.

At the climax of the meeting, stakeholders appended their signatures to a joint resolution pledging to mobilize massive support and work collectively toward ensuring the emergence of all the endorsed candidates in the 2027 general elections without opposition.

The meeting ended with renewed calls for unity among party faithful, peaceful political participation, sustained loyalty to party leadership, and collective commitment toward advancing the welfare and progress of Aniocha North, Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole.

Political observers have described the development as a strong signal of solidarity, strategic alignment, and growing consensus within the APC structure in Aniocha North as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
