2027: Iteveh Ekpokpobe Enters DTHA Isoko South 1 Constituency Race With P.A.V.E Agenda

ISOKO SOUTH 1 SEND ME (Wà Viomè Ùwo)!!!

I have declared my intentions of contesting the seat of Member, Delta State House of Assembly, to the Chairman, Executives and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isoko South Local Government Chapter, at the Party Secretariat in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area.

This declaration is following continuous consultations of Leaders and the good people of Isoko South Constituency 1 who have given nods and continued to show support.

My intentions to gun for the hallowed chambers is in view of my innate yearnings to as always, push for and ensure the infrastructural cum socioeconomic development of Isoko Land vis-a-vis the human capital development of our people.

My track record of agitations and struggle against the marginalization of the Niger Delta region, streamlined to Isoko Nation, is testament to the reality that I am the best man for the job.

I hereby unveil P.A.V.E: A 4-Point Legislative Agenda for Isoko Constituency 1.

WHY P.A.V.E?
Isoko South 1 needs a path. P.A.V.E is not just an acronym — it’s a commitment to lay a solid road for our Constituency to progress on.

P- PROGRESSIVE INFRASTRUCTURE

We can only build a 21st-century Isoko on strong foundations.

My pledge:

  1. Sponsor bills for rural-urban road mapping – Push for transparent, phased rehabilitation of link roads in Isoko South 1 to connect farms to markets.
  2. Legislate for community-led project monitoring to ensure every constituency project has a citizen oversight committee to ensure quality delivery.

A – ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE
The House of Assembly is the hub of legislations and lobbying.

My pledge:

  1. Quarterly Town Hall Reports – Every 3 months, I’ll return to give a full account of my votes, motions, and constituency funds. No hiding.
  2. Digitize Constituency Allowances – Push for a public online portal showing how every Naira of constituency project funds is spent.
  3. Youth & Women Budget Desk – Reserve 30% of constituency project nominations for youth and women groups through open calls.

V – VIABLE EMPOWERMENT
Skills acquisition and access to jobs do end poverty.

My pledge:

  1. Constituency SME Clinics – Partner with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and Bank of Industry (BOI) to bring quarterly business registration, loans, and CAC support to our town halls.
  2. Agriculture Value Chain Support – Sponsor motions for subsidized inputs plus guaranteed offtake for cassava, plantain, and fish farmers in Isoko South 1 Constituency.

E – EDUCATION & HEALTH EQUITY

A healthy, educated child is Isoko’s best resource.

My pledge:

  1. Push for functional, staffed, drug-stocked Primary Health Care Centres per ward.
  2. Teachers’ Welfare Motion – Fight for rural posting allowances and prompt payment to attract quality teachers to our public schools.
  3. Girl-Child Retention Law – Sponsor legislation for free sanitary pads in public schools + penalties for underage marriage to keep girls in class.
  4. Drug Abuse Response Unit – Work with NDLEA & Ministry of Health to establish constituency-level counselling & rehab referral centres.

My Commitment to You:
I am not going to Asaba to be silent. I am going to Asaba to speak, to sponsor, and to bring home the dividends of democracy for us all..

Wà viome ùwo!!!
