Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, today, has signed five bills passed by the Delta State House of Assembly into law, including the Payment of Thirteenth Month Salary Bill, 2026, giving the salary policy a formal legal backing.

The bills were presented to the Governor by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, at Government House, Asaba, where Oborevwori assented to them.

The five bills signed into law are:

  1. Delta State Revenue Service (Consolidated) Bill, 2026.
  2. Delta State Public and Private Properties Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
  3. Delta State High Court (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
